But the roads and bridges were closed for the full and half marathons. Yet, they have plenty of parks in Ottawa, so there were many possibilities, and we gradually made our way to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/@45.3519508,-75.822187,1321m\/data=!3m1!1e3\">Andrew Haydon Park<\/a>\u00a0on the Ottawa River.<\/p>\n<p>There were sailboats moored in the harbor at <a href=\"http:\/\/nsc.ca\/web2\/\">Nepean Sailing Club<\/a> on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/naturecanada.ca\/what-we-do\/naturehood\/lac-deschenes\/\">Lac Desch\u00eanes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DSC_2380.JPG\" src=\"https:\/\/augerhandle.net\/blogs\/jumpingfish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/DSC_2380.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 2380\" width=\"300\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There were lagoons surrounded by deep green lawns and trees and pink blooming Crabapples<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DSC_2410.JPG\" src=\"https:\/\/augerhandle.net\/blogs\/jumpingfish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/DSC_2410.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 2410\" width=\"300\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>which Crabapples we don\u2019t get to enjoy very often, so we did.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DSC_2382.JPG\" src=\"https:\/\/augerhandle.net\/blogs\/jumpingfish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/DSC_2382.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 2382\" width=\"300\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There were Canada geese, parents and goslings in a row.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"DSC_2441b.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/augerhandle.net\/blogs\/jumpingfish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/DSC_2441b.jpg\" alt=\"DSC 2441b\" width=\"550\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And finally, oh look.
