The tomatoes and the cucumbers and the peppers and watermelon and grass and trees and weeds are celebrating with a showy show \u2014 green, the likes of which we haven\u2019t seen in many years.<\/p>\n<p>According the the <a href=\"http:\/\/hydromet.lcra.org\/riverreport\/report.aspx\">Lower Colorado River Authority<\/a>, two weeks ago, 14 days precisely at this very minute, the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lake_Travis\">Lake Travis<\/a> lake level was 629.48 feet above sea level. At the moment, it is 630.54 feet. That\u2019s a lake level rise of one foot. One foot in 14 days!<\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s the thing of it. The historical average level for Lake Travis is 670.47 feet above sea level.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s see, at the current rate of one foot in 14 days, let\u2019s call that two feet per month, we only need it to continue raining as it has been for another \u2026 20 months.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Non-stop rainy, drizzly, stormy days for a year and a half.
