This last full day in Florence was no exception.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Let me show you what I mean&#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jumpingfish.smugmug.com\/ItalySwitzerland-2015\/Misc\/i-F4Z5gsm\/0\/M\/DSC_0882-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Just look at the satisfaction on Trudy\u2019s face. And just look at our plates. Perfect over-medium eggs. Toast with butter to die for. Bacon. A generous cup of coffee. All at a little table just our size sitting out on the sidewalk just a couple blocks from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.florencegrandtour.com\/romantic-b&amp;b-florence.html\">where we were staying<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, that was a <em>mighty fine<\/em> breakfast we had at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/ShowUserReviews-g187895-d1895454-r316047201-Caffe_il_Sole-Florence_Tuscany.html\">Caff\u00e8 Il Sole<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve talked about it perhaps too much \u2014 how every morning we were in search of a hearty breakfast and how we had good success most mornings.
