What I haven\u2019t told you is that he is not alone.<\/p>\n<p>On sunny days like yesterday, he can be found sitting on one of his back patios warming his cold-blooded bones.<\/p>\n<p class=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/jumpingfish.smugmug.com\/Blogpix\/2016\/03\/i-wHHR5kx\/0\/X3\/DSC_0096-X3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jumpingfish.smugmug.com\/Blogpix\/2016\/03\/i-wHHR5kx\/0\/M\/DSC_0096-M.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And on those same sunny days, his cousin, whom I have not mentioned before and who has lived in the Boxwood for several years, can be found on <em>his<\/em> patio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/jumpingfish.smugmug.com\/Blogpix\/2016\/03\/i-dxLL7Wm\/0\/O\/DSC_0100-b.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jumpingfish.smugmug.com\/Blogpix\/2016\/03\/i-dxLL7Wm\/0\/L\/DSC_0100-b-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Any sunny day now the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Texas_spiny_lizard\">Texas Spiny Lizard<\/a> will show up. He lives in the cluster of Turk\u2019s Cap growing beside the Ash tree. He is not as taken with sunbathing as these two are, but on a good day, we can find him on his patio, a pile of dead wood at the base of the tree.
