The light was fading. There was a purplish-pinkish blooming Iris and Spiderwort closed up for the night. There were pink Cone Flowers and Mealy Blue Sage. And there was a purple Prairie Verbena and orange Native Lantana.<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s shame the Bluebonnets got cut off at the bottom, but by the time he noticed, night had arrived.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The sun had set.
